Myles Sloan has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Myles started their career at The University of Texas at Arlington as a FabLab Technician, where they managed and maintained different machines and software. Myles then joined UTA Racing as a Suspension Design Lead, overseeing the design of suspension systems. Myles later worked at Torq'd Designs as a Fabricator, specializing in custom chassis and suspension systems for high-end car builds. Following that, they became the Chief Engineer at Red Dirt Racing, where they organized and led a BAJA SAE team, overseeing the design and fabrication of integrated engineering projects. Myles also worked at SparcMotors LLC as a CAD Designer, utilizing CAD modeling and 3D scanning to create designs. Prior to their current role, Myles worked at Vorshlag as a Mechanical Design Engineer. Currently, they are an Engineer at GoldenWolf, LLC.
Myles Sloan completed their education by obtaining a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Tyler between 2018 and 2020. Prior to that, they had also obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same university from 2012 to 2018. Additionally, they attended The University of Texas at Arlington from 2013 to 2015 for Mechanical Engineering studies, but did not complete a degree. In the earlier part of their education, Myles pursued Automotive Engineering Technology/Technician studies at Tyler Junior College, earning a degree in Automotive Technology from 2009 to 2010.
