Matias Silvani is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in emerging markets. Since June 2015, Matias has served as Partner and Head of Emerging Markets at GoldenTree Asset Management. Prior to this role, Matias held the position of Managing Director at J.P. Morgan Asset Management from June 2004 to May 2015, where responsibilities included portfolio management for emerging markets debt. Matias also has a strong background in banking and finance through roles at UBS as Director, Citibank as Vice President, and the Inter-American Development Bank as Economist. Matias began career consultancy with The World Bank and has also contributed to academia as a lecturer at Princeton University. Matias's educational background includes studies at Princeton University, the University of Maryland, and Stanford University.
