Egill Eide is an experienced professional in the field of marine engineering, currently serving as the Head of Performance at Golden Ocean Group since November 2021. Prior to this role, Egill held positions such as Performance Manager and Fleet Performance Manager at MOL Chemical Tankers from April 2018 to November 2021, and Jr. Fleet Performance Manager at Nordic Tankers A/S from November 2016 to April 2018. Egill began an academic career as a Teaching Assistant at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in 2014, assisting with courses in marine technology. Education includes a Master of Science in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from NTNU, complemented by an exchange program at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and studies at Western Norway University of Applied Sciences.
