Yolanda Molette has extensive experience in conservation and ecological roles. Yolanda currently works as the Director of Conservation and Community Science at the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Conservation Management & Field Operations at the same organization. Yolanda has also worked as a Botanical and Wetland Specialist at CH2M HILL and as a Senior Plant Ecologist at Environmental Science Associates. Yolanda has experience as a Consulting Botanist, conducting surveys and assessments for special-status plant species. Yolanda has also worked as a Lab Instructor at San Francisco State University and as a Co-Steward and Biological Science Technician in different roles at the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy and the National Park Service, respectively. Additionally, they have contributed to riparian habitat restoration projects as a Project Planning Assistant at The Nature Conservancy.
Yolanda Molette holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Ecology and Systematics - Conservation Biology from San Francisco State University. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Biology from Whittier College. No specific start or end dates were provided for either of these educational experiences.
