Oswaldo Bastidas is an experienced engineering management professional with a robust background in maintenance engineering and project management. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Golden Aluminum since April 2022, Oswaldo previously held the position of Maintenance Engineering Senior Manager at Tenaris from October 2008 to April 2022, where leadership was provided to a team focused on enhancing the efficiency of a leading steel pipe mill. Oswaldo's experience includes managing capital expenditure projects and defining maintenance strategies for production lines to meet safety and performance goals. Prior positions include Maintenance Supervisor at Empresas Polar and SIDOR, where oversight of maintenance programs and project development was emphasized. Oswaldo holds a Master’s degree in Maintenance Engineering from Universidad de los Andes and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Tecnológica del Centro.
