Michael Brooks has been working in the tech industry since 2012. In that year, they founded ResponseCRM, an industry-leading ecommerce solution provider. In 2014, they founded goLance.com, a popular community of freelancers, entrepreneurs, business owners, and creative souls passionate about their work. During this time, they also authored three books. In 2020, they joined Ripple as Regional Counsel (North America & LATAM).

Michael Brooks attended California State University, Chico from 1997 to 2001, where they studied Communications.
