Gohar Iqbal is an experienced professional in project management and engineering, currently serving as the Associate Director of Projects at IndiGo (InterGlobe Aviation Ltd) since June 2018. In this role, Gohar leads and manages various EPC projects, overseeing all aspects from inception to completion, including feasibility studies, design, budgeting, and execution. Prior to this, Gohar held several key positions at Habtoor Leighton Group (HLG) from 2007 to 2018, including Planning & Project Controls Manager, where responsibilities involved managing the planning for a significant Aircraft MRO facility. Earlier work experience also includes senior planning roles at Laing O'Rourke, BAUER Spezialtiefbau GmbH, Gammon India Limited, AFCONS Infrastructure Limited, and Road Builder Sdn. Bhd., contributing to numerous high-profile construction projects across the Middle East and India. Gohar holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from Jamia Millia Islamia.
