Yi (Frank) Rao is an experienced executive in the technology sector, currently serving as Senior Vice President at GoerTek Inc. and Chief Executive Officer of Goeroptics since October 2019. Prior roles include Vice President and General Manager of Goeroptics, along with a tenure as Director of Augmented Reality at Rokid Corporation Ltd., where significant advancements in augmented reality technologies were achieved. Yi also co-founded Bandwidth10 Inc. as a Senior Device Engineer, focusing on tunable transceivers for optical communication. An accomplished academic, Yi holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and multiple degrees from Tsinghua University and Peking University in Engineering and Economics.
