Pricing Analyst II at GoCardless

Nigar R. has a range of work experience in various industries and roles. Nigar is currently working as a Pricing Analyst at GoCardless, starting in January 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Motif as a Quantitative Researcher in the field of Financial Services from January 2021 to January 2022. Before that, they worked at Cicero/AMO as a Mixed Methods Researcher in Public Affairs from January 2020 to June 2020. Additionally, they have experience at Brand and Deliver as a Mixed Methods Researcher in the Tech industry from November 2019 to December 2019, at Madano as a Mixed Methods Researcher in Science & Tech from December 2018 to November 2019, and at Havas People as a Mixed Methods Researcher in Brand Identity from May 2018 to June 2018.

In terms of leadership experience, Nigar was the President of the Royal Holloway Entrepreneurs Society from September 2015 to March 2016. In this role, they managed a committee, organized events, workshops, mentoring, and funding opportunities for over 1200 members. Nigar also served as the President and Advisory Board Member at Bright Futures Resourcing during the same period.

Before entering the professional world, Nigar participated in the IBM University Business Challenge as a Team Leader from September 2014 to March 2015. Nigar led a team of four peers and competed with universities across the UK, reaching the Semi-Finals in Bristol. The challenge involved making critical business decisions in a simulated board of directors scenario, providing their with a diverse range of business experiences.

In addition to their work experience, Nigar briefly participated in the Social Entrepreneurship Venture Lab at Maastricht University in August 2015.

Nigar R. started their education with a summer school program in History at UCL in 2010. In 2011, they took a module in Psychology at Birkbeck, University of London. In 2012, they pursued an Advanced Illustration course with a focus on Photoshop at the University of the Arts London. From 2013-2016, they attended Royal Holloway, University of London, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Management. In the same year, they also took a beginners course in Mandarin Chinese at King's College London. In 2015-2016, Nigar R. studied International Relations at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Lastly, from 2016-2018, they completed their Master's Degree at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in Empires, Colonialism, and Globalisation.
