Jason Amoako has a diverse work experience in the payment operations and customer service fields. Jason started their career at Ladbrokes Coral as a Customer Service Advisor, where they gained experience in handling bets and managing shop operations. Jason then moved on to Metro Bank (UK), where they held multiple roles including Payment Operations - Clearing Specialist, Fraud Prevention Support, and Customer Service Specialist. During their time at Metro Bank, they processed various types of payments, investigated fraudulent activities, and assisted customers with a wide range of queries. Jason also worked at RateSetter as a Payment Specialist, processing payments and ensuring loan repayments were applied correctly. Currently, they are a Senior Payments Analyst at GoCardless, responsible for reconciling accounts with sponsor banks and handling direct debit schemes. Overall, Jason has developed strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills throughout their career.
Jason Amoako started their education at Acton High School, where they completed their GCSEs from 2005 to 2010. After that, they attended Twyford C.O.E Sixth Form from 2010 to 2012, where they studied A-Levels. Jason then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting & Finance from Canterbury Christ Church University, which they completed from 2012 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, Jason also obtained a Professional Bankers Certificate from The Chartered Banker Institute in April 2018.
