Andy Wiggan

Chief Product Officer at GoCardless

Andy Wiggan has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Andy is currently serving as the Chief Product Officer at GoCardless since October 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President - Product Management at GoCardless from May 2020 to December 2022.

Before joining GoCardless, Andy worked at MelodyVR as the Head of Monetisation Products from October 2019 to March 2020. Andy also gained experience at Paws.com as the Director of Product, Engineering & Growth (head of) from May 2019 to July 2019, and as the Director of Product & Growth (head of) from December 2018 to July 2019.

Andy spent a significant portion of their career at Spotify, where they held multiple roles. Andy served as the Director of Payments from August 2011 to November 2018. Additionally, they co-founded and co-led the subscription platform tribe at Spotify as the Director of Product- Subscription Platform from September 2011 to June 2015. Andy also worked as a Product Manager, responsible for the first payments/revenue software squad at Spotify from May 2011 to September 2011. Andy started their journey at Spotify as a Project Manager- Payment Solutions from January 2010 to September 2011.

Earlier in their career, Andy gained sales experience at NetBanx Ltd, where they worked as a Sales Executive from June 2008 to December 2009, and from October 2007 to December 2009. Andy also had an internship as a Tunnelling Engineer at Jacobs, where they designed tunnels for London's Crossrail and Underground facilities from June 2005 to September 2005. Andy started their professional journey as a Chemical Process Engineer at Syngenta from July 2002 to July 2003. Andy also had a gap year experience at the Royal Academy of Engineering from July 2002 to July 2003.

Andy Wiggan attended Ermysted's Grammar School from 1995 to 2001. Andy did not receive a degree or specialize in any particular field during their time there. Later, they pursued higher education and joined the University of Cambridge from 2003 to 2007. Andy earned their MEng degree in Engineering during this period.
