Margaret O'Connell is a seasoned sustainability consultant at Goby | The ESG Platform since October 2021, with prior experience as a water policy analyst at A. O. Smith Corporation from January 2016 to October 2021, focusing on sustainable product development and global data analysis. An earlier role as a water policy intern involved policy research for the Council on Competitiveness, collaborating with the Water Council on technological improvements in water use for manufacturing. Additional experience includes serving as an executive assistant to the director of education and strategic planning at the Urban Ecology Center and working as a project manager for Reflo-Sustainable Water Solutions. Margaret O'Connell holds a Master's of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in freshwater sciences and a Bachelor of Science in marine biology and biological oceanography from Hofstra University.
