Alia Pialtos is the Chief Operating Officer at Go Overseas. Prior to their current role, they served as the Marketing & Communications Manager at YOU, Inc. from July 2017 to May 2018. In this role, they were responsible for co-development and implementation of all of the agency’s marketing strategies, communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal.
Pialtos has also served as the Director at USA Gap Year Fairs, Assistant Director of Admissions at Dynamy Internship Year, and adjunct instructor at Colorado State University and University of Colorado Boulder.
Pialtos holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies and a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Colorado Boulder.
Alia Pialtos has a Master's Degree in Fine and Studio Arts from the University of Colorado Boulder, as well as a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Ceramic Arts and Ceramics from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Alia also has a Bachelor's Degree in Ceramic Arts and Ceramics from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Additionally, Alia Pialtos has participated in a study abroad program in Design and Applied Arts at the University of the Arts London, and they have also completed coursework in Fine and Studio Arts at Providence College.
They are on a team with Ashley Williams - Travel Writer & Content Creator, Eliz Aquino - Content & Community Manager, and Colin Murchison - Travel Writer. Alia Pialtos reports to Andrew Dunkle, Co-Founder.
