Opio Obwangamoi David has an extensive work experience. In 2019, they were a Young Convergence Pioneer for the World Frontiers Forum & MIT and a Fellow at Westerwelle Foundation. Additionally, they are the Founder & CEO of gnuGrid CRB, a fintech company enabling financial inclusion and transition through data. Opio was also the Founder and Lead at Ensibuuko, and a Volunteer Youth Mentor at Educate! from 2009 to 2012, where they directly supported thousands of youth to create and run enterprises and community programs.

Opio Obwangamoi David has an education history of two programs. Opio completed a Master Class at the America Express Leadership Academy in 2021, where they studied Ashoka System Change. Additionally, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Quantitive Economics at Makerere University in 2010, where they studied Economic Policy Modelling.
