Alexis Chavez has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. alexis is the Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board at gnuGrid CRB, a Ugandan credit reference bureau licensed by the Bank of Uganda. Through this role, they have enabled millions of borrowers to access their credit scores and prove their creditworthiness. Prior to gnuGrid CRB, Alexis founded Einstein Rising in 2013, a consultancy firm that supports African entrepreneurs in developing socially conscious businesses. alexis has also worked as the East African Field Specialist at ECOLIFE Foundation and as the Programs Manager/Financial Development at Tasikoki Wildlife Rescue Center.
