Dwayne Vickers has extensive experience in research and investigation, currently serving as an Investigator II at GNF since October 2016. Previously, Vickers worked as a Postdoctoral Associate at the Broad Institute and as a Post Doctoral Fellow at the Rowland Institute at Harvard University, where significant contributions included the development of a microfluidic electroporation system for gene therapy targeting cancer cells. Additionally, Vickers has a strong academic foundation, holding a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Northeastern University, along with an MS in Mechanical Engineering and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Tuskegee University. Research contributions also include work on embryonic stem cell markers and biomolecule detection development during earlier appointments.
