Connor Schmidt is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from the University of South Florida, possessing extensive experience in field operations and engineering roles. Since October 2019, Connor has been with GMF Steel Group, progressing from Field Engineer to Assistant Construction Manager and currently serving as Field Operations Manager. Prior experience includes a Field Engineer position at Welltec, where responsibilities involved coordinating job planning for oil and gas wellsites, and an engineering internship at Gulf Controls Company, focusing on project completion and digital workflow automation. Additional roles at Gulfcoast Software Solutions and Harvest CROO Robotics enhanced Connor's technical skills in troubleshooting and mechanical design.
