Cornelius D. Griggs is a native of Chicago who has cultivated a successful career in construction management over more than a decade. As President of GMA Construction Group, Cornelius oversees construction operations and ensures project delivery aligns with high standards of efficiency and quality. Currently serving as a Commissioner for the City of Chicago's Community Development Commission and an Adjunct Lecturer at Kennedy King College, they have also held roles such as Sr. Project Manager at Walsh Construction and Project Engineer at Clark Construction Group. A military veteran who was awarded the Army Commendation Medal for service during Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom, Cornelius remains actively involved in community advocacy and education.
