Mohibuzzaman Zico has a long history of experience in the open source software industry. Mohibuzzaman started their career in 2004 as an Open Source Promoter for Bangladesh Open Source Network. In 2007, they began working as a Software Developer for JhoroTEK, while also taking on the role of System Programmer at BRAC University. At BRAC University, they implemented DSpace and KOHA, two open source institutional repository systems, and co-supervised Shahariar Mullick's thesis in Spring 2010. In 2010, they began working for oDesk as a Unix/Linux System Administrator and for DuraSpace as a DSpace Ambassador of Bangladesh. Mohibuzzaman also worked as a Lead Solutions Engineer (Sales and Support) and Lead Deployer/Lead Technical Support Engineer for Gluu, Inc. from 2011 to 2021. In 2021, they were promoted to Director of Enterprise Solutions and Support at Gluu, Inc.
Mohibuzzaman Zico's education history includes obtaining a BSc. in Computer Science and Engineering from BRAC University between 2004 and 2011, a Higher Secondary School Certification from Notre Dame College between 2001 and 2003, and a Secondary School Certification from St.Joseph High School and College between 1992 and 2001.
