Richard Pialat has a vast work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Richard started their career in 1996 as an intern at Edixia. In 1997, they worked as a software engineer at SGT until 2000. Following that, they joined EMC as a senior software engineer, where they developed Windows applications for PC. In 2002, they joined Viaccess as a software engineer, focusing on conditional access library development and security functions for Set-Top Boxes. Richard then became a project manager, leading a team of engineers until 2008. From 2008 to 2012, Richard worked at France Telecom as a content security expert, specializing in DRM and personal mobile TV. Since 2012, Richard has been with Globecast, initially serving as a media management and broadcast operations engineer, and later transitioning to the role of media solution architect. In this current role, they are responsible for designing platform architectures, defining operational procedures, managing technical RFPs, and supporting the sales team. Overall, Richard's work experience showcases their expertise in media solutions and content security.
Richard Pialat completed their education from 1990 to 1996 at the Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Rennes, where they studied Electronic Engineering and Computer Science. Richard obtained additional certifications including AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate in February 2022, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate in February 2020, AWS Certified Developer - Associate in January 2019, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate in October 2018.
