David Wright is the founder and president of Ecology Crossroads, where they developed a program that distributed and planted 10 million trees across the United States. David gained recognition from the White House, the City of Chicago, and the Governor of Kentucky for their work. David also served as the Chief Executive Officer of Globcal International, where they implemented international conservation and philanthropic projects. Currently, they are the Cooperative Development Officer at De'Aruhuä Cacao, overseeing the development of a cooperative chocolate factory. In addition, they have held roles as a Kentucky Colonel in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, a volunteer forum co-moderator at the United Nations, a social network ambassador at XING, a goodwill ambassador at large for the Cabildo Metropolitano de Caracas, and the owner of Gambler's RV Parts.
David Wright's education history begins in 1985 when they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Horticultural Sciences from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona. David then pursued further education from 1987 to 1988 at California State University, Los Angeles, where they studied Liberal Arts in General Education with a focus on Instruction. In 1990, they took a Certification Course in Nonprofit Management and Administration from the University of Delaware. Additionally, in the same year, they obtained a certification in Non-Profit Institutional Management from the University of Delaware.
In terms of additional certifications, David Wright became a Goodwill Ambassador for the Huottuja Foundation (Piaroa) in July 2021.
