Hunter Marston is an experienced professional with a diverse background in Southeast Asian political economy and international studies. Currently serving as Southeast Asia Associate and Australia & New Zealand Associate at 9DASHLINE, Hunter Marston also holds the position of Regional Political Economy Expert at DAI. As an Adjunct Research Fellow at La Trobe University and a PhD candidate at The Australian National University, dissertation research focuses on the dynamics of hedging strategies in Southeast Asia, expected to conclude in December 2024. In addition, Hunter Marston provides independent consulting insights through GlobalWonks, engages with the U.S. Department of State, and has held roles at the Australian Defence College and Pacific Forum. Hunter Marston holds multiple degrees, including an MPA in International Development and an MA in International Studies with a focus on Southeast Asian studies.
