Tapas Gupta is a seasoned data engineering professional with significant experience in the tech industry. Currently serving as a Principal Data Engineer at G-P/Globalization Partners since April 2023, Tapas previously held the position of Staff Data Engineer at Zendesk from June 2021 to April 2023, where responsibilities included designing and migrating mission-critical customer data. Prior experience includes a role as a Python Developer at Tata Consultancy Services Limited, where Tapas developed an Enterprise Application Integration system using Apache Airflow and optimized data migrations through ETL pipelines. Tapas holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Visvesvaraya Technological University, attained between 2009 and 2013.
