Lehtem Buma Carine is a skilled professional with extensive experience in clean cooking and climate initiatives. Currently serving as a Clean Cooking Associate at the Global Platform for Action since September 2024, Lehtem manages clean cooking projects in displacement settings and leads climate and energy initiatives. Prior experience includes roles at ICLEI Africa as a Senior Specialist in Climate Change, Energy and Resilience, where complex projects were coordinated, and as a Mathematics and Physics subject specialist at Studiosity. Education credentials include a Master's degree in Applied Physics with a focus on Photovoltaic systems from the University of Fort Hare and a Bachelor of Engineering in Petroleum Engineering from the Catholic University of Cameroon Bamenda. Additional internships in engineering provided foundational expertise in energy systems and performance evaluations.
