Aidan Eyakuze is an experienced leader with a significant background in organizational governance and social progress. Currently serving as the Director of Thomson Reuters Founders Share Company since January 2025, Aidan also holds positions as a Governing Board Member for Open Contracting Partnership and an Advisory Board Member for the International Panel on Social Progress. Aidan has been the Executive Director of Twaweza East Africa since March 2015, overseeing strategic leadership and organizational integrity. Aidan's involvement extends to board memberships with Raising Voices and the Open Government Partnership, where responsibilities include providing oversight and promoting the initiative's principles. Aidan was previously the Associate Regional Director for the Society for International Development, leading research programs in East Africa. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Economics from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Trent University.
