Julie Mwabe currently serves as the Team Lead for Global Advocacy and Public Policy at the Global Partnership for Education, a position held since September 2022 within the World Bank Group. Prior to this role, Julie held the position of Gender Advisor at the Presidential Policy & Strategy Unit (PASU) in the Executive Office of the President, Kenya, from September 2019 to August 2022. Experience also includes working as a Communications Specialist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from July 2013 to September 2019, and serving in various roles, including Advocacy and Campaign Officer and Communication Officer at UNICEF from February 2006 to June 2013. Julie holds a Master's degree in Development Communication from Cardiff University and a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Psychology from the University of Otago.
