Gürhan ÖKTÜ is an accomplished Offshore Safety Officer with extensive experience in health, safety, and environmental roles across various drilling and engineering projects. Currently employed at Global Offshore Engineering since August 2022, Gürhan oversees safety operations on the DS Abdulhamid Han ultra-deepwater drillship. Previous positions include Senior Health Safety Environment Officer at Middle East Air Drilling Services Ltd. Co. for the Anadolu-01 jack-up drilling unit, and Offshore Safety Officer at TPIC, where Gürhan managed HSEQ operations on the RV Barbaros Hayreddin Paşa. Additional experience includes roles at Técnicas Reunidas and Tekfen Construction, covering significant projects such as the TANAP pipeline and ExxonMobil's refinery expansion in Singapore. Gürhan holds an Associate's degree in İşçi Sağlığı ve İş Güvenliği from Kocaeli University.
