Douglas Murray has an extensive maritime career, currently serving as a SDPO at Global Offshore Engineering since April 2019. Prior experience includes SDPO roles at Caspian Drilling Company Ltd. and Prosafe, where Douglas worked on notable vessels such as Regalia and Safe Concordia. Additional SDPO positions were held at Vantage Drilling and Dolphin Drilling Ltd., supporting operations on the Seadragon 1 and Belford Dolphin, respectively. Douglas began the career in various ranks, including 2nd Officer DPO at Northern Marine Manning Services Ltd. and Denholm Ship Management, before advancing to SDPO roles. Educational qualifications include a Master Unlimited degree from South Tyneside College and various certifications from Glasgow College of Nautical Studies.
