Renita Edwin is a seasoned advocate for feminist alliances and philanthropic advocacy, currently serving as the Director at Global Fund for Women since October 2021. Previously, Renita held positions such as Senior Manager of Global Partnerships and Grant Writer within the organization. Notable experience includes roles as Program Coordinator on the Executive Director's Team at CREA and Outreach and Communications Advocate at Sakhi for South Asian Women. Renita also worked as a Research Associate at the World Federalist Movement - Institute for Global Policy and as a United Nations Program Intern at OutRight Action International, where research focused on LGBTI movements and their interactions with UN mechanisms. Renita's academic background includes a Master of Arts in Human Rights Studies from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from PES University.
