Mariana Castro is an experienced professional in program management and development, currently serving as an Associate Officer for Feminist Crisis Response at the Global Fund for Women since August 2021. Previously, Mariana held various roles at The Practice Space, including Junior Board Chair and Board Member Secretary, where contributions were made to enhance organizational strategies and community engagement. As Grants & Development Coordinator at RYSE Youth Center, Mariana assisted with grant applications and development communications. Earlier consultancy work at Seva Foundation focused on policy research and resource mapping in eye care for Latin America. Mariana holds a Master’s degree in International and Comparative Education from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science/Global Studies & Juvenile Justice Youth Advocacy from Wheelock College.
