Garry Lyon Jr, CSM, currently serves as Program Manager at Global Entrepreneurship Network since October 2022, after previously holding the title of Program Associate. Prior to this, Garry was the Director of Programs and Social Media Manager at American Underground from March 2019 to October 2022, where responsibilities included mentoring members and enhancing their access to networks and resources. Notably, Garry led the AU Program for Google For Startup's Black Founder's Exchange, ensuring comprehensive logistical and programmatic support for over 40 founders. Garry's earlier experience includes roles at First as Customer Success Manager and various positions at YMCA of the Triangle and Pepsi Bottling Ventures. Garry holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from East Carolina University and an Associate's Degree in Computer Information Technology from Durham Technical Community College.
