Mark Carlson is an experienced law enforcement professional with a robust background in security management. Currently serving as a Police Officer for both the City of Oak Forest, Illinois, and the Village of Posen since April 2021 and September 2018, respectively, Mark also holds the position of Director of Security at Forest City Enterprises and is involved in Special Operations with Global Elite Group. Responsibilities with Global Elite include conducting TSA regulated screenings for private charters and overseeing high-value cargo security. Mark's security experience extends back to roles such as Assistant Director of Security at Forest City and Security Officer at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Law Enforcement and Justice Administration from Western Illinois University and an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice from Moraine Valley Community College.
