Philip Reitinger is the current President and CEO of the Global Cyber Alliance. Philip has a long and impressive history in the field of cyber security, having served in various positions in both the private and public sector.
Reitinger began their career as a trial attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice in 1990. Philip then became an instructor at the University of Miami School of Law before moving on to work as a executive director for the Air Force Office of Special Investigations in 2001. In 2003, they joined Microsoft as their chief trustworthy infrastructure strategist.
In 2009, Reitinger left Microsoft to become the Director of the National Cybersecurity Center under the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. After two years in this position, they joined Sony in 2011 as their Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer. Philip held this position until 2014 when they left to join the Global Cyber Alliance.
Philip Reitinger studied engineering at Vanderbilt University before going on to earn their doctorate at Yale Law School.
