Mr. Simon Cohen is a seasoned keynote speaker and broadcaster, currently serving as a member of the Advisory Council for the Global Compassion Coalition and as Vice President of the Mattie J T Stepanek Foundation Inc., where efforts focus on amplifying Mattie’s message. Mr. Cohen's extensive experience includes participation in the Compassion Council for the American Refugee Committee, as well as leadership roles on the Executive Committee of the Global Compassion Council for Charter for Compassion International and the Global Brain Trust for Boma. In addition, Mr. Cohen has been a faculty member at the Amani Institute, delivering curriculum on marketing and open leadership, and has been active with the We Are Family Foundation since 2010 in various capacities including facilitator and chief storyteller. The founder and former managing director of global tolerance, Mr. Cohen holds degrees in theology from the University of Nottingham and the City of London, as well as a Bachelor of Arts from the City of London School.
