Jamie Morrison is an accomplished professional in the field of agricultural economics and food systems, currently serving as Senior Advisor for Policy and External Relations at the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) since September 2022. Morrison has an extensive background with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), where service spanned from July 2004 to June 2022, including roles such as Director of the Food Systems and Food Safety Division and Senior Economist. Prior academic experience includes positions as Senior Lecturer at Imperial College London from August 2004 to July 2007 and Lecturer at Wye College, University of London from August 1993 to July 2004. Educational credentials include a PhD in Agricultural Economics from the University of London, an MSc in Agricultural Economics from Wye College, and a BSc in Agricultural Science from Massey University.
