Nehmiya Shikur is a skilled data scientist currently engaged at GREENSPIN GmbH since October 2023, focusing on the research and development of machine learning algorithms for forest monitoring and bark beetle detection utilizing geospatial data. In addition to this role, Nehmiya serves as Community Lead and Core Member at Global AI Hub since April 2022, while previously working as a data scientist (werkstudentin) at ENER-IQ GmbH from November 2022 to April 2023. Nehmiya also founded DomuFinder, a web application platform aiding international students in finding accommodation in Poland, and worked as a software developer at SoftBlue S.A. from August to November 2020. Education includes a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence at Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and Mechatronics from Wyższa Szkoła Gospodarki w Bydgoszczy, and studies in Information Technology Engineering at Addis Ababa University.
