Vasken Khabayan is a seasoned professional in international relations and trade law with extensive experience at Global Affairs Canada since 2002. Currently serving as Director, Vasken manages key institutional relations with organizations including the OECD, World Economic Forum, and UNCTAD. Previous roles include Deputy Director and Training and Development Manager at the Trade Law Bureau, as well as various diplomatic positions such as Consul General (Acting) at the Consulate General of Canada in Dallas and Counsellor in Trade Policy at the Embassy of Canada in Washington, DC. Vasken holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from York University.
