Robert van der Westhuizen is a professional with extensive experience in civil engineering, currently serving as a Senior Tailings Engineer at Glencore since October 2021. Prior to this role, Robert worked at Golder from November 2015 to September 2021, where responsibilities included positions as a Geotechnical/Tailings Engineer, Junior Engineer, and Intern. Robert holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the University of Pretoria, obtained in 2015, and a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Stellenbosch University, completed in 2018.
