Lakmal Korathota serves as the Regional Head of Projects at Glencore since February 2023, bringing a wealth of experience from previous roles at South32, where responsibilities included Director of Operational Projects and various managerial positions. Prior experience includes key roles at BHP, where Lakmal held positions such as Superintendent Projects and Project Manager, and at Cram Fluid Power Pty Ltd as a Senior Project Engineer. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Project & Risk Management and pursuit of a Master of Laws in Business/Commerce from the University of Sydney, along with a Bachelor's degree (Honours) and a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Western Sydney.
