Hansel Akers is a seasoned professional in sales engineering and solution engineering, currently serving as the Head of Solution Engineering for the East at Glean since February 2024. Previously, Hansel held the position of Regional Vice President of Sales Engineering at BigPanda, where significant accomplishments included building a diverse Sales Engineering team and enhancing sales processes. Prior roles encompass managerial and leadership positions in sales engineering at SolarWinds and VividCortex, which was acquired by SolarWinds, as well as technical sales roles at CloudMine and various financial analyst roles at Inova Health System and Penn Medicine. Hansel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management with a focus on Healthcare from Georgetown University.
