Maya Martinez-Davis is a seasoned executive in the pharmaceutical industry with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as President of U.S. GSK since September 2019, Maya oversees operations in 14 countries and a workforce of over 1,700 employees, driving strategic growth and medical launches. Maya also serves on the Board of Directors at Mirati Therapeutics since December 2018. Previously, as President of Biopharma Latin America at Merck KGaA from January 2016 to August 2019, Maya led significant initiatives in the region and oversaw the global launch of Bavencio for Merkel cell carcinoma while streamlining Erbitux’s performance. At Pfizer, Maya held various senior positions, including Regional President for Oncology North America and Latin America and Canada in Vaccines, managing substantial pharmaceutical business portfolios. Maya holds a master's degree in Commercial Management and Marketing from IE Business School and an undergraduate degree from Saint Louis University.
