Hitesh Patel is an experienced professional in the medical affairs field, currently serving as the Director of Medical Affairs at GSK since July 2017, where responsibilities include supporting the respiratory portfolio for asthma, severe asthma, and COPD, analyzing customer insights for evidence generation, and reviewing promotional materials for scientific accuracy. Previous roles include Postdoctoral Research Fellow at both the FDA and UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy, alongside various positions at Walgreens, Duke University Hospital, and several internships in the pharmaceutical industry, including Chiesi USA, Inc., Quintiles, and UCB. Hitesh Patel holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Biomanufacturing from North Carolina State University.
