Deborah Short is an experienced leader in the global travel and meetings sector, currently serving as the Head of Global T&E, Meetings and Payment Solutions at GSK since October 2018. Prior to this role, Deborah was the Global Travel Manager at Willis from July 2011 to October 2018, where oversight of a multi-million dollar travel program across 40+ countries was key. Earlier experience includes serving as EMEA Travel Manager at PFIZER Ltd from September 2007 to September 2011, driving year-over-year savings and managing a substantial travel budget for over 50 countries. Deborah began a career in travel management as Business Manager at EMEA Meetings and Travel from September 2004 to September 2007, focusing on travel projects and the implementation of travel technology solutions. Deborah holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Business Computing from the University of Kent.
