Bernard Hogan-Howe is the former Commissioner of the London Metropolitan Police from 2011 to 2017. Prior to this he was HM Inspector of Constabulary (2009-2011) and Chief Constable of Merseyside police (2004-2009). From the Met he led the police Counter Terrorist Network in the UK and abroad. Bernard was elevated to the House of Lords as a crossbench peer in 2017. He’s also a trustee of the Arise Foundation and a patron of the St Giles Trust.
