Thai Pham

Deputy Chief Development Officer at GLAAD

Thai Pham is a seasoned development professional with more than 20 years of individual, institutional, and corporate fundraising experience, raising money for LGBTQIA+ rights, civil rights and civil liberties, arts education, and philanthropic causes. Before joining GLAAD, he served as the Associate Director of Gift Planning at the ACLU’s National Office in New York City. He worked with the National and Affiliate offices to secure 6-figure+ planned and major gifts. Beyond fundraising, he was a co-founder and co-lead of the ACLU’s People of Color in Philanthropy ERG and co-lead of the AAPI and LGBTQIA+ ERGs. Prior to joining the ACLU, Thai served as the deputy director of development at Lambda Legal, the deputy director at Stonewall Community Foundation, and the deputy director at Bolder Giving. Profiled in The Advocate magazine as one of 2009’s “40 Under 40,” he is also the 2011 recipient of the Pioneer Spirit Award from Asian Americans for Equality. He is an active member of the Philanthropic Planning Group of Greater New York and the Progressive Planned Giving Group. Thai received his BA in psychology from the University of California, Berkeley.
