Amanda Atkinson is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in employee communication and engagement. Currently serving as the Head of People Communications (Interim) and communications strategy consultant at GKN Automotive since September 2023, Amanda previously held various senior roles at Salesforce from October 2016 to May 2023, including Senior Director and Head of Employee Communication & Engagement for the EMEA region. Prior to Salesforce, Amanda worked at RBS from November 2012 to September 2016, where significant contributions included strategic communication advising and leading a restructuring initiative for RBS Americas Communications. Earlier experience includes internal communications roles at BNP Paribas Real Estate and the American Red Cross. Amanda holds a Master of Arts in Internal Communication Management from Kingston University and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Public Relations from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
