Zia Uddin Jewel currently serves as Advisor and Country Representative at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH since October 2023. Prior to this role, Zia held several positions at Infrastructure Development Company Limited (IDCOL) from August 2019 to September 2023, including Manager, Assistant Manager, and Senior Officer in the Technical department. Zia also gained experience as a Production Officer at RB from March 2018 to July 2019, overseeing production operations and maintaining compliance with EHS and QA standards. Earlier, Zia was a Technical Management Trainee at ABUL KHAIR STEEL, working in the Electrical Maintenance and Industrial Automation team. Zia holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology and is pursuing a Master of Business Administration at the Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka.
