Mateo Daza has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Mateo currently works as a Lead Engineer at Giveth, where they started in October 2020. Mateo also contributes to The Commons Stack, starting in October 2020 as a Contributor. In 2022, Mateo joined Stealth DeFi as a Software Engineer, starting in September. Prior to this, they worked as a Community Lead at Ethereum Colombia since August 2020. Mateo is also a Co-Founder of QuillaLabs since December 2017. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Mobile Engineer at dexFreight from December 2018 to April 2022, and as a Software Development Engineer at AppMeUp SAS from March 2018 to December 2018.

From 2013 to 2018, Mateo Daza pursued a degree in Ingeniería de sistemas at Universidad del Norte.
