Cole D. currently serves as the Deputy Chief of Staff and Director of CEO Communications at GitHub, where responsibilities include overseeing CEO communications and strategic communication initiatives related to AI and GitHub Copilot. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Advisor for Clean Energy for America, where strategic communications and media advice were provided, and as a Speechwriter at Microsoft. Cole D. has also worked as a writer and strategist for the Office of James Carville and American Bridge PAC, contributing to political campaigns and media strategies that aided in the election of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Additional roles included debate preparation for Jacky Rosen's congressional campaign and public affairs at SKDK, as well as research writing for Saturday Night Live at NBCUniversal Media, LLC. Cole D. holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Arizona.
