Yana Chukur has a diverse work experience. In 2019, they worked as an English Teacher at Study Club Chernivtsi until September 2020. From January 2021, Yana worked as a freelance English Translator, gaining experience in both written and oral translation. Yana also served as a Customer Support Specialist at Global IT Support from March 2021 onwards. Starting in March 2023, Yana assumed the role of Assistant Manager at The Borgen Project.

Yana Chukur obtained their Bachelor's degree in Language Interpretation and Translation from Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, which they attended from 2017 to 2021. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Language Interpretation and Translation from the same university from 2021 to 2022. In addition to their formal education, Yana also obtained a certification in SDL Trados Studio 2019, Level 1, from SDL Trados China in May 2020.
